BMS 8-283 TY1/ .250X1X50 (680-1468) is a closed cell vinyl/nitrile foam, meeting FAR 25-853(a) Vertical burn and is specifically designed and approved to BMS8-283J (Type I). It is typically used for sound dampening and sealing. The foam has very good compression set resistance and temperature rating for a wide variety of applications.
