Curriculum

Pacific Coast Composites has developed a curriculum to support composite education in middle schools, high schools, community colleges, and universities across the United States. The curriculum is not intended to be a complete curriculum for any one course . This free information is made available with the intention to inspire and support educators with ideas and suggests to support their individual programs whether it be material science, manufacturing, engineering, or other specific programs.

We have broken down the curriculum into four sections:

  • Safety
  • Lean Manufacturing (Highly Recommended)
  • Precision Measurement
  • Materials
  • Fabrication

This curriculum can be used for an entire course or sections of a course.

We highly encourage that you incorporate mock interviews, resume building, interviews with industry leaders as these things are extremely important to helping the students land a job after completing the course.
